This site is here to remember
all our loved brothers, sisters, fathers, mothers, sons and daughters
that are no longer with us. Not just those lost during 911, but
all that have been taken through actions of war or violence, no matter
what race or religion.
We
are all a part of the same Race, The Human Race, neither creed, color,
religion should separate us, aren't we all a creation of God ?
Does
not the letters on this site from every corner of the globe, from a
multitude of race or religious backgrounds say "We should Love
one another" ?
Amazing
how Mankind boasts our great intelligence or accomplishments,
When
the FACTS are: We are the only species that kill each other for no
reason, we are destroying our world environment when our very existence
depends on this planet we live on.
Is it
not time to start fixing the problem ?

On 9-11 at 7:30 I had just returned
from a hospital in Louisville, KY for having a sleep apnea test. I
turned on the T.V. and was sitting there watching the morning show.
When all of a sudden the plane hit the first tower. I was glued to the
T.V. all day long. I recorded all day long. I have never watched
these tapes but I still have them.
Three years ago we celebrated out 25th wedding anniversary in
Pennsylvania in the Pocano's on our way back home we went to the
flight 93 crash sight. I took so many pictures of all the memorial
things that people left it was such a heart warming thing to see so
many things that people had left. We talked to a lady who was an over
see person of the sight. She said that everything that was left will
be saved and put in the memorial building when it is built. It all
gave my husband and I cold chills just to be at the sight. We also
visited the memorial chapel built close by. It was amazing also.
The gentleman at the chapel pointed out that it was directly across
the field from the crash. I hope I live long enough to see
the memorial built on the sight of the crash.

Monday will mark the fifth
anniversary of the terrorist attacks. As I reflect on the horror of
that day, I can remember the fear, the pain and the uncertainty of
what would happen next, and it makes me sad. But, more important than
the sadness, is the the pride I feel for my country. The cowards that
attacked our country did not destroy us, they made us stronger. I see
more American Flags flying then I ever did before. I see people
looking up to police, firefighters and EMS workers and recognizing the
sacrifices they make for all of us on a daily basis. I see our
military fighting and dying to free countries that have been oppressed
by their leaders for way to long.
Thank you to all of you who dedicate
your lives to protect our homes, our bodies and our souls.
Although, we as Americans all lost something on 9-11 my thoughts and
prayers especially go to any of you who lost someone, and to the
families of the heroes who made the ultimate sacrifice.
God bless you and God Bless America

Well, this Monday will mark the 5
year anniversary of September 11, 2001. It still seems unreal that
those events took place. And that its actually been 5 years. My heart
goes out to those who lost a loved one. And a big THANK YOU to the
responders of 9/11. I read through some of the other letters and was
overwhelmed. Tears streaming down my face. This tragedy did not only
happen to the American people but to all people. We will never forget.

I am a very proud American. What was
done to us that day I shall never forget. It brought us sadness but at
the same time showed us that true evil does exist in this world we
live in and we must not let it dampen our spirits or cause riffs in
our brethren Americans, because if we let that happen then they have
won. There is nothing I would not do for my country, except kill
innocent people, such as those who died that day.
My heart and sole goes out to the families and friends of those who
lost someone on that brutally real day.
I want to thank those people throughout the world who understand our
frustration, anger, loss, and ask that they prey this never happens to
anyone again.

Almost 5 years on let us remember those who died, suffered or were
affected by the atrocities that happened on 9/11/01. People put their
own lives at risk to save others, this proves that love makes the
world a better place and we can beat evil that comes to us. Here in my

continue but lets fight together to banish it forever.

9-11 TRIBUTE THRU CONNECTION WITH NYC MARATHON.
IN 2000 I RAN THE NYC MARATHON AND FELL IN LOVE WITH THE CITY, SO ON RETURNING HOME I IMMEDIATELY BOOKED TO GO AGAIN IN 2001. WITH THE EVENTS OF 9-11-2001 I DIDN’T THINK THE RACE WOULD TAKE PLACE, (NOV 4TH) SO I WAS OVERJOYED THAT RUDY GIULIANI INSISTED THE RACE GO AHEAD. ON ARRIVAL AT KENNEDY AIRPORT I WAS CALLED TO THE BRITISH AIRWAYS DESK TO BE INFORMED THAT MY MOTHER HAD DIED AFTER A LONG STRUGGLE WITH CANCER, WHILST I WAS IN THE AIR. IN THE PREVIOUS WEEKS I KEPT TELLING MY MOM THAT IM NOT GOING TO NEW YORK DUE TO HER POORLY CONDITION. SHE TOLD ME, “ I KNOW YOUR HEART IS BREAKING BY THE SITUATION, BUT YOU MUST TRAVEL TO NEW YORK WITH MY BLESSING AND STAND AGAINST TERRORISM AND MAKE YOUR MOTHER PROUD BY SUPPORTING FREEDOM AND LIBERTY”. MY PLANE LEFT LONDON FOR NEW YORK AT 10.00AM (GMT) SHE DIED 20 MINUTES LATER, A FACT THAT STILL BRINGS A TEAR. SO THERE I AM IN NEW YORK EMOTIONALLY DEVASTATED TWICE. I SAT ALONE ON THE BACK OF THE BUS TRAVELING FROM KENNEDY TO MANHATTAN. IT WAS A BEAUTIFUL SUNNY DAY JUST LIKE 9-11. I LOOKED OUT OF THE WINDOW STARING NOWHERE IN PARTICULAR, IN AN EMOTIONALLY SURREAL STATE . THEN CAME THIS WONDERFUL SIGHT IN THE FOREGROUND THE VAST CEMETERIES OF CALVARY AND MOUNT ZION AT MASPETH AND ON THE HORIZON THE MANHATTAN SKYLINE, SEEN THRU A KALEIDOSCOPE OF TEARS AND SMILES BECAUSE I LOVE IT SO MUCH.
(DEDICATED TO THE PERSON WHO WAVED THE BATH TOWEL FROM THE TOP FLOOR OF THE NORTH TOWER ON SEPTEMBER 11TH 2001.)
NOT BEING AMERICAN I CAN GIVE AN OBJECTIVE VIEW, GIVE ME YOUR TIRED AND WEARY FROM THE ELLIS ISLAND QUEUE . DRIVING IN FROM KENNEDY, THOSE EARLY IMMIGRANTS CROWD THE INTERSTATE. AT CALVARY AND MOUNT ZION, THEY HAVE CREATED REALITY FROM DREAMS, AND YOUR AT ITS GATE. GIVE THEM LIBERTY , THE TYPE THAT TYRANNY CONFOUNDS. WHERE PEOPLE ARE FREE WONDERFUL ENERGY ABOUNDS. THEIR LEGACY TO US ARE THE BUILDINGS THAT STAND. ON THE ISLAND OF THE HILLS SO PROUD SO GRAND. THE THING THAT GRAPHICALLY ILLUSTRATES THIS SO WELL, SO FINE. IS THAT MAN MADE GRAPHIC EQUALIZER, THE MANHATTAN SKYLINE. TWO HIGH PEAKS ARE MISSING WHERE SYMBOLS ARE NORMALLY FOUND. WILL THE HARMONY BE BROKEN THE LOSS SO PROFOUND . IN ITS SPIRITUAL HOME MR LENNONS IMAGINATION STANDS PROUD AND TALL. FOR NEW YORK A RACIAL LIQUIDIZER , TEACHES TOLERANCE FOR ALL. MANY YEARS FROM NOW, WHAT WILL 9-11 MEAN , A DATE OF COURSE A NUMBER PERHAPS. STILL CONNECTING TO THOSE GUYS WEARING NYC DEPARTMENT BASEBALL CAPS. THE REST OF THE WORLD SINGS A CHORUS FROM THAT OLD SINATRA SONG. ITS UP TO YOU NEW YORK NEW YORK, WE KNOW IT WONT BE LONG. YOUR TEARS WILL DRY FOR THOSE HEARTS SO BRAVE AND TRUE. THAT’S WHY THE REST OF THE FREE WORLD LOVES THE RED WHITE AND BLUE.
EVERY YEAR I COME BACK AND RUN THE NYC MARATHON (THIS YEAR NOV 7TH , RACE NUMBER 3794) WITH A MESSAGE ON MY CHEST IN SUPPORT OF YOUR WONDERFUL CITY. THIS TIME ITS “ NEW YORK…. RUNNING FOR THE UNFORGOTTEN AND THEIR FAMILIES”. FINALLY BACK IN ENGLAND THE YANKEES ARE NOT JUST A BASEBALL TEAM, NOT JUST NEW YORK CITY… BUT THE DEFINITIVE WORD TO DESCRIBE THE AMERICAN NATION. ON MARATHON DAY ONE MAN WILL PAY HOMAGE TO YOUR UNFORGOTTEN PAST WITH UNCONDITIONAL SUPPORT FOR YOUR DREAMS AND ASPIRATIONS IN THE WORLD SERIES OF EVENTS, BOTH IN AND OUTSIDE BASEBALL TO SAY ………. GO YANKEES!!!!.

Dear Sir:
What a beautiful site. My compassion through my prayers are devoted to
the present time, for me those people who died are now making contact
with our love for ALL even though we never knew them in person, but
they all are part of the "I am" that is our real energy.
This energy believe it or not attracts more love, they were part of
the physical world for a time, nevertheless now that they are not
around physically, they are living in our hearts forever and every
tear that runs from our eyes expresses that they indeed are integrated
in our present time; they are gone but not forgotten, we REMEMBER
THEM!
My daughter Cristina was born September 12, 1975. She always
remembers the time we visited the Towers and admire them so much,
in our minds they still are in the same place, they were
"things," they will be erased from the planet but not
from our minds. They embrace innocent people's past, and
that past is not forgotten but integrated in our remembrance.
I am living in Ecuador, my country at present, and I wish from the
bottom of my heart that my adored country be added as well, we
want to see our flag stay with the others.
Thank you very much for letting me express my feelings.

Bask beneath a sea of tears, muffled
in the rain, tiny fingers linked to form a prayer to ease the pain,
Broken for a moment still, he heard from way above, A longing too from
that he knew to somehow feel his love. God reached down
and held his hand, he felt it in his soul, and brushed the tears away
again and gave a gentle pull, and then as if he were embraced the
message sent was clear, that with our Lord our Father, was the one we
held so dear.
That every word that's spoken and
those we hold inside are never gone unnoticed even when our worlds
divide, that solace can be found again, even though we'll always
grieve, and souls are reunited with the ones they had to leave

As 9-11 draws near, the people here
in and around my little town are getting ready to remember the angels
that left us that day. The day of this tragedy will never die in my
heart nor in the hearts of all Americans. Everyone of us suffered and
cried and stood in dismay that terrible day. I pray for all of the men
and women who died for some unknown reason to me. My prayers and love
go out to all of the families who lost a friend or family member. They
may heal but they will never ever forget the day they lost the ones so
dear to their hearts. Please, as we remember the WTC, let us not
forget the ones who died at the Pentagon, and at Shanksville, PA. 9-11
will always be in our hearts and minds, at least I know for myself it
will be. Sending love and prayers to all of our servicemen and women
who are serving to protect us!!

I will never forget. I want to
apologize from the bottom of my heart for your loss and our countries
loss. I was at college when I first heard about the attacks.
I thought that someone was playing a joke or watched way to many
movies. I couldn't believe that anything like that would happen
here. When I walked into the chapel service that we had at
school we were told of the attacks. I was shocked, astonished,
hurt, and angry. Shock came first. How could this happen?
Did we know who did this? Why? Hurt came next. My
heart hurt for all those that were in the buildings, the pentagon, and
on Flight 93. I prayed that they were taken fast...So the pain
wouldn't be the last thing in their memory. I felt the loss that
the families were feeling. How could we lose so many in hatred.
They were fellow Americans that had lives, family, and dreams. The
last was anger. I wanted those that inflicted this pain and hurt
against the people of my counry to pay for what they had done. I
wanted them to be hurt the way that they hurt us. Then I
realized that I wanted to hurt others that had family, friends, lives,
and dreams. I wanted to take someone else's life for those who
were taken from me. That is the hardest part about the attacks.
The loss, the anger, and hatred for those that did this. I can
not handle all of the hate that is controlling this world. It is sad
and heartbreaking. People wanting to take another life from
someone every day. My prayers go out to all of the families of
9/11. I can never take the pain away, but their memory will live
in my heart forever.
To the Firefighters, EMS, Police Officers, I would like to thank you
for taking it upon yourself to run into those towers to save lives.
You risk yours everyday. Thank you for giving yourself
unconditionally. You are always in my heart and prayers.
May the blessings of the Lord keep you safe always.

My daughter was murdered on July 15,
2001, just a few short weeks before 9/11. She died in a domestic
violence attack that should never have been. At that time I was
also working for a US Airline, and so when 9/11 occurred it wounded me
deeply, that others were to suffer the pain and sadness I too was
experiencing.
I raise Teddy bears to honor my daughters life, as a birthday gift for
her each year, and see that the various agencies are supplied with
them to give to victims families at a time they are sorely needed.
Something to hold on to and to center with.
This year I am forgoing the normal tea party to use the funds to raise
more bears, and to take what I am able to gather to give to FDNY to
use to help victims. If your readers can help, they should send the
bears or funds to us to help.

Five Years on this September 11th, I remember waking up to a
beautiful day. The sky so blue and the air so clear. But
that changed by one phone call. My son in law who worked at
tower two called me and asked me to put on the news. He was
informed that a plane or something hit tower one. Told to wait
to further confirmation, he remained in his office. He then hung
up abruptly.. When I found out which was in an instant, I called him
back to tell him what had happened. I could not reach him.
The family did not know what had happened to him. As we watched
the falling towers, I remember so vividly screaming out. "Oh God,
there all dead!" Where is my son-in-law!" Hours passed
and we still didn't know. But he was one of the miracles, he
made it out just before tower two fell. The relief was a lifted
burden. Yes, we thanked every possible higher power, but we mourned
those who didn't live. Celebration was not something to do when
almost thousands died. A friend, who was a fire fighter went to
save as many as he could. He died with the crumbling of those
beautiful towers that shined in awe on that beautiful day. The gray
cloud of dust and ashes of those angels filled the air and left us
with a dark cloud in our heart. A day we will never forget as
long as we live. This horrific day changed our lives and the way
we view it. Our freedom can never be taken advantage of and we
must keep vigilant so this may never happen to our City and the rest
of the United States. My son in law has learned to take every
day and make the best out of it. For your life can change
forever in an instant. For our "World Trade Center Angels"
I pray that you rest in peace and know that your death was ours as
well. God Bless You.
