Your response to this site has also touched my heart deeply, by your letters, by your obvious sharing this web link with others. 09 11 01 a morning that I will always remember as I sat at my home on my computer watching the news, in shock, feelings that today I still can't describe, because I knew the potential loss of life was horrifying to think of. The children who would not see a father or mother that night at the supper table, or ever again at the supper table was deeply saddening. A day I will never forget those who went beyond heroic, A day my life was changed A day that this site began and will remain, A goal that was to create horror The efforts of those who's goal was horror, was their greatest downfall As our World has come together & grown in strength As seen on this site, your letters span the World May God Bless you all in your daily life And Thank your for sharing - http://www.wtcim.com Richard Guyon WTC Memorial Tribute Site designer

May 31, 2006 hi...my name is Emily and
my boyfriend's father has been fighting in Iraq for the past few
years...and seeing your site makes me remember and think of all of
those who are serving to get our country back to the way it was...I am
so sick of people bashing on our President for sending people over to
the war! Bush is an amazing President and I think we have every right
to be over there...how is terrorism ever going to stop if we don't
stop it. I just know that Bush has gotten so many hate letters and I
wish I could speak to him in person and let him know that he is doing
so well...what a horrible time to have to be President and truly I
don't think anyone could do better. I keep all the soldiers and Bush
in my prayers. God Bless. ---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- May 30, 2006 Why do i write now ? courage to stand up to the terrorists and those countries that support
such evil people and ideology. Gregory Chance USA ---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- April 30, 2006 Nearly five years
on and this website still offers comfort. even to people like me. i am
a sixteen year old girl and was therefore only eleven the day the twin
towers fell. i live in England and have no connections with anyone on
the planes or in the buildings, with anyone lost or anyone who lost,
other than as a human being watching their pain unfold on the
television and in the papers. it can be hard to express your feelings
on such an event when people living in that devastation suffered so
much more and still suffer because of it today. Nicola England Dear Nicola, This site will stand and be here as long as there is an Internet, for you and any that want to send a letter to be posted to share with the world. I will never forget September 11th, nor will my children, grand children, great grand children,,,,, God Bless Sincerely Richard
---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- April 30, 2006 I recently watched a program reminding me of the horror that was and in many ways still is 911. It is amazing that one day, one memory has stayed so strongly in peoples minds. It is a day our generation will never forget and we will not allow those that follow to forget either. It will live on and become a tragic and horrific moment in history to be taught to future generations as the day the world stopped. We will never forget, and neither will they. Sarah England ---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- April 28, 2006 She Still Stands ---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- April 22, 2006 I just want the world
trade center to be build up the same way it was before 9.11.01 because
even though I am 9 I was six when it happened I love New York as if it
was my only child and I got to see the world trade center when I was
three so I can't really remember what it looked like so please just
please I want to help. I will remind my children of you people
if I live to see and cherish this moment. ---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- April 22, 2006 I am from Holland hello Ron ---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- April 20, 2006 to all those who have lost loved ones in the awful 9/11 event, i am praying for you all and m wishes are with you for ever. may you all have happier years to come. with all my love, thoughts and wishes x x x Molly England ---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- April 18, 2006 I feel bad for the
victims on September 11th ,2001 when the World Trade collapse !
Christopher Columbus high school had share it of two terrorists that
wanted to bomb in the Bronx ! Jason Jimez and Steven Rodgruiez where
terrorists of Christopher Columbus High school want to bomb and take

" Elizabeth Lapicola USA ---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- April 16, 2006 They should not
be kept down. Caine Mac Australia (in memory off all, but especially the 10
Aussies we lost in NY that day. ---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- April 15, 2006 The day of the world
trade center, I cried without joy in me. I cried with anger among me.
I cried for the heros who lost their lives in the world trade
center. I cried for the people i saw throw themselves off the tower,
tours the floor. I only thought about how they didn't want to die in a
thing that they didn't know anything about. I cried and thought about
how those people also didn't want to get burned. For those people i
cry. Jeffrey Zenon USA ---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- April 13, 2006 over
4 years on and 9/11 is still so vivid in peoples minds. everyone can
tell you exactly where they were and what they were doing that day.
the world will never forget and will never stop grieving for those
lost. may they rest in peace. Roisin England ---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- April 12, 2006 i am a 15 year old girl from England meaning i was only 11 the day the twin towers came down. i remember it so vividly as it was my mothers birthday, one i and undoubtedly she will never forget. returning home from school i found my mum sitting expressionless in her room watching the news. as she told me what had happened and i watched the images myself i was shocked and upset. i was still a child and did not understand why such a thing had happened, yet to this day as i approach adulthood and look on the world differently those images cannot be forgotten and the sadness i felt that day, for a country i had never seen and people i had never met lives on. to the emergency services and all those who helped in anyway on that day and those after i salute you. to all those who lost loved ones my heart goes out to you. as America grieves nearly five years on i pray for you and all those lost on that fateful day will remain forever in my heart. may they rest in peace. Nicola Britain ---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- April 12, 2006 this September will be five years since 9/11 yet the pain and horror felt on that day lives on. looking at memorial sites and watching the tribute films fills me with sadness at the realization that we live in a world so full of hate. we regularly see suffering around us, natural disasters and wars screened before our very eyes and the whole world watches felling horror and disbelief. when it happens in our own town, region or country we feel the sadness and when our pain is caused by others we feel such anger and rage not understanding why it has been done. and in other towns, other countries they to experience these tragedies and they to feel these emotions. yet we as a nation, as a world go out and cause this pain for others. those responsible for the 9/11 bombings had undoubtedly experienced the same pain they caused at some period, probably caused by individuals from other countries. and knowing the pain it would cause they still dealed out such cruelty to their fellow man under what they believed to be religious calling. now i do not expect the worlds people to turn around after years of wars and fighting and terrorist attacks such as this and declare total peace and an end to all suffering, i know it is unrealistic to expect such things. Yet i live in hope that one day not only one country will stop fighting its enemies but all will and our brothers and sisters all over the world will live in harmony and peace with no need for such great suffering and pain as we witnessed nearly 5 years ago. 9/11 was the day the world stopped, the sad thing is this led the world to search for revenge and left my peaceful and harmonious world remain even more a distant dream less likely to be remembered. my beliefs and search for peace do not however in anyway take away from the sadness of that day and for America all days following. for all those who lost loved ones you will remain forever in my heart and mind and i to, though i live thousands of miles away grieve for every soul lost on that day, may they rest in peace. Nikki England ---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- April 4, 2006 (i
will try to write so you can read it.) Karina Denmark ---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- April 3, 2006 I am only 13 years old. I was only 9 when this tragedy happened. I know many people will think that how could I possibly have any sort of feeling towards this, as I'm only a child myself. They are wrong. I am English, so obviously I can't imagine the horror of 9/11 or feel the pain that the residents of the USA must be feeling. But the day of the twin tower attacks in NY, was my best friends birthday. her 10th birthday. That is another reason why I remember that day so clearly. i rang my friend up to say happy birthday when i saw it on the news. I cried so much, even more than I cry each time I watch Titanic. We have a tribute at school each year which is nice. But every year on that day, I feel so sad. I am not a religious person at all, but I pray for people all over the world in poverty and anyone who has been a victim of war, my family and friends etc. But every year on Sept.11, I say a special prayer for those still searching for clues to the horror inflicted on New York City that day. Stephanie Carr England ---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- March 22, 2006 I have a son in the
USMC currently stationed in San Diego. I looked at the video again
just to help me remember why we are at war with Terrorists. I wish
everyone that does not support our troops and President Bush would
look at this again. Especially the media and the Liberals who are
constantly saying that our fighting men and women in our military
should not be there. Clark Lindemann USA ---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- March 18, 2006 I am pleased to see everyone's warm and caring thoughts to the victims and their families. During 9/11 it really woke up everyone and showed them what really we in the Fire/EMS community do. So many people take for granted life and don't appreciate those people who do this everyday. We do this 365 days a year, no questions asked. We risk our lives to help those in need all the time. It is always expected of us but hardly ever appreciated by those we help. IT took a mass casualty incident to show America what our brave heroes do everyday. But it seems as though America has forgotten us. I just ask that everyone show your love for your local heroes the police, firefighters, and paramedics, that do this on a daily basis. We aren't just loosing lives in big incidents like 9/11. It happens all the time where our men and women lose their lives in the line of duty. They sacrifice themselves on a daily basis to answer the call. IT is a rewarding job to help people daily but sometimes it is taken for granted what we do. Appreciate your local heroes and let them know that you are proud of them. God bless those lost and their families in 9/11 and everyday. Ryan Fines Country: United States ---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- March 17, 2006 Some month's and
that all happens 5 years ago, but if I see the collapsed Towers at TV
or heard the tribute songs or anything else like that I feel very sad. ---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- March 17, 2006 Hi I am a 14 yr old girl from Australia and do not know anyone who was in the 9/11 however to all those families who lost a love one I send you my heart. 9/11 is one of the saddest things that could happen to anyone and there was a lot of innocent people who died. Anthony Country: San Diego CA USA ---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Feb 18, 2006 In 1981, being
from New York, I had the opportunity to enter the World Trade Centers
to deliver some legal documents around the 62nd floor. I remember
standing at the base with amazement at the grandur of these huge
monuments of human accomplishment and thinking, "...if these were
to ever come down...". On September 11, 2001 I received an
early morning call from my sister in PA to "... turn on the TV
quick something is happening here!" As I watched with my family I
was breathless with what came next. The Twin Towers coming down.
I was shocked, sad and angry all at the same time. RBN RECORDS Recording Artist Roberto Country: USA ---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Thank you Mielina On IRC chat for your help in the translation of a letter from Croatia Feb 18, 2006 I don't know English that well to be able to write, but I still decided to give my voice AGAINST ANY KILLING. I found this page incidentally and I could not say anything, which has not been said already, but I would like to ask all people in this world STOP KILLING EACH OTHER! I am casualty of the conflict that was in my country, as well as thousands like me, and I can say that I am happy I am alive; Don't the children of the dead deserve for their fathers and mothers to be alive? Where does it all end? We will never get there, in that better future if we kill each other! And those that are giving you reasons to do it are liars! And I am against capital punishment there are not enough reasons to kill another human being; and those led by some survival instinct, are trying to convince us with preaching's about "holy right"; they are not good enough to lead us and let's prevent them from that in a civilized manner. Goran Ribicic Country: Croatia ---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- I was speechless at 9/11, when i turned on my tv, and saw what had happened. I am speechless now, when i see the memorial sites on the internet, how could it happen, and WHY. I think it's horrific that we share the world with so narrow minded people. Look what is happening in the world today, because of some drawings in a newspaper!!! To think that people are ready to kill others because of their religion... I just don't get them, and they obviously don't get us...... Ann Country: Denmark ---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Letter (02/10/06) I HAVE GROWN UP IN BELFAST AND LIVED WITH TERRORISM FOR 30 YEARS ..BUT I WATCHED 911 WITH TEARS IN MY EYES ..I ONLY WISH I HAD BEEN THERE ON THAT DAY TO HUG AT LEAST ONE NEW YORKER ..GOD BLESS PAUL CHESTNUTT Country: IRELAND ---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Letter (02/10/06) I am a British soldier preparing to deploy overseas in the global war against terror. I was just browsing on the internet and found this site amongst others and have been remembering the events of 2001 and beyond. I thank you for the letters and thoughts which have really made me remember what we are fighting for. I am no longer fearful, for I join many brothers and sisters of all nations who make a stand against terror. To the people that have laid down there lives in the battles against those that try to take our freedom and way I life I salute you. Chris Country: England ---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Letter (02/06/06) What happened on September 11th was a real shocker and very sad. I was listening to a Christian radio station 94.9 KLTY and they were talking about what had happened and then once I found out what was going on I turned on the TV and they were talking about it and it was really sad and I cried for a couple of days because our country was under attack and our school choir had gone there for our trip so we could sing there but we were there before it happened. It was a real sad time for me too! Cara Rutledge Country: United States ---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Letter (01/31/06) I am Macey Ganner I really hate those people who bombed the towers i wish we could just rewind the world and stop them from doing that but i guess we can't i just wish i could kill those people who did that the killed so many people and if they heard this song i am listening to right now i bet they wish they wouldn't have done that oh never mind they don't care about anyone but them selves tell them to listen to the song by dj sammy heaven 911 tribute... Macey Ganner Country: Canada ---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- hmm, my thoughts... Angelfire Country: Germany ---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- To all the victims and their families, my heart goes out to you.
There is not a day that goes by I don't think about 9/11. I was
watching the morning news on September 11, 2001 and flashing across
the screen they showed what was happening to the world trade centers.
I just watched in horror. It has almost five years, I always think
"how could people do this to all those innocent people. I have
spent a lot of time of memorial sites trying to pay tribute to the
victims. To read the victims stories makes me want to cry. I think
different now, I am cautious what I do, I check my surroundings and I
always try reading up on current news. Your loved ones will never be
forgotten. ---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Hi my name is Abigail i am 12 years old and i recently heard a song by Dj Sammy Heaven 911 Tribute and i burst out in tears when the little girl whose daddy had died in the attack started saying about how she missed him. I feel so sorry for her and i cant stop crying because of what those people did. I couldn't imagine life without my daddy. It is especially bad at the end where she is saying she could go visit him in heaven and that she sleeps with the light on just incase he comes home and kisses her good night. I cant stop the tears from falling. I wish that it would never had happened. I hope that the people who did these attacks listen to the song. Just so they no that this little girl and lots more other people lost there dads, mums, wives, husbands etc. I give my best wishes to all those people who lost people from there attacks. Abigail age 12 Country: England ---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- hmm, my thoughts... Angelfire Country: Germany ---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- FOR EVER NEW YORK THE GREATIS CITY IN THE WORLD I WILL BE THER SOME DAY AND JUST HAVE A GREAT TIME AL FONTANA. THAT DAY.OF 911. MADE ME BE MORE IN LOVE WITH MY WIFE EVEN MOURE THAN EVER... we allways make our world a better place and they will not stop us... USA AND ALL THAT MAKE IT WHAT IT IS ALL THAT STILL GIVE THER LIVES TODAY ... THANK YOU ALL MEN AND WOMEN IN OUR ARMDSERVISES THIS DAY I LOVE ALL.........COME BACK HOME... ALPHONZO FONTANA Country: EDGER ---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- I don't know if messages are still being posted to this site, but I still had to share. I know that it has been over 4 years since this terrible attack on our Nation, but the feelings are still so real. I can remember everything about that morning and the entire day. I live in Southern CA, and woke up to the news on my radio, I thought I was dreaming, they were talking about a plane that had been hijacked. i jumped up out of bed and ran to the TV to see if it was being covered on the Today Show. I couldn't believe my eyes, I stood there in the middle of the room just staring at the television. I finally ran in and woke up my husband to tell him what was happening. I ran back into my den just in time to see the 2nd plane hit. Living in CA I thought I was watching some twisted Hollywood movie, except this was real. I feel to the floor, couldn't get my breath and just watched the remaining events unfold. As most American's felt that day i was no exception. Sadness, anger and disgust overwhelmed me. How dare someone come over to OUR country and do this to US... I have always been a patriotic person all of my life, people used to tease me about it, but not on that day nor on any day after September 11th. I wanted nothing more than to hop on a plane and fly to NY to offer my help. Unfortunately at that time I could not. However The people directly affected in NY, Washington DC and Penn, were and will forever be in my heart. I had the chance to visit Washington DC last spring (2005) and was amazed at all the protesters around the White House. I believe in our President and completely support all of the decisions that he has made, before, during and after these attacks. I think that those protesters should watch some of the memorials on this site, to help remind them about the tragedy of these attacks, why we are the greatest Nation in the World and we need to defend our freedom no matter what the cost. In the words of President Bush "We will not Falter" "We will Never Forget" God Bless the USA, god Bless our troops an Karyn Country: Southern CA, USA ---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- i really think it's great what you did (the website) for all of the people we have lost during that tragic event. i stumbled upon it while visiting another website and i read every word you have written down on those web pages. you are an amazing person and keep up the good work Beatrice Vachon Country: Canada ---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- I'm a girl at 12 years. i would just like to say that the presence of emotion on your site is
incredible, i saw the videos, letters and poems on the memorial
section and i was touched both in sadness and respect. i only hope
that you weren't unfortunate to lose anyone close or special to you
and if you did , i am sorry. the commitment to your website is
fantastic. it just goes to show how much people care about times like
these. it is comforting to know that people like yourself are willing
to make time and take effort to be there as a crutch for people
affected by these bad times. Andrew Country: Wales- Great Britain ---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- My thoughts and prayers go out to all the families of all the servicemen that have lost there lives protecting this wonderful country. I work in public safety myself and have great honor to have worked aside some of these brave individuals that would have taken there life for another. To be short, Thank you so much to all that have given me the oppurtunity to call myself a free American. Chris Country: USA ---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- To everyone who lost a person he or she loved that I'm praying for them with all my heart. además, todos sabemos quienes son los responsables (basta con ver la
película de Michael Moore). Sergio Caceres Country: Mexico ---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- i think that it was the most worst day in my life. i was in 8th grade and sitting in the lunch room. not knowing what was going on when i was called for an early dismissal and i got in my car and heard that the world trade centers have been hit and i asked "what are the world trade centers?" not knowing what they were. then i found out what they were and i just wanted to cry. but i held it in and just got home and watched the news and it was on every channel. i know there were people that didn't want to watch it because of their loved ones but most people probably did want to watch about it while they prayed everyone got out alive and not hurt under the watch of our god above. GOD BLESS THE USA. UNITED WE MUST STAND IN THE FUTURE NO MATTER WHAT RACE, COLOR, RELIGION, ETHNIC BACKGROUND WE ARE. WE WILL NEVER FORGET 9/11. OSAMA WERE GOING TO GET YOU. Joshua Corkran Country: United States of America ---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- We cannot forget, we cannot forget, we cannot forget, we cannot forget..... Mike Country: USA ---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Hello-I have a poem called "I REMEMBER" that was
published in a book called The Colors Of Life. It gives alot of hope
and I would like it to be seen on this site.
I REMEMBER
I remember on 9/11 when 3,000 lives were lost.
With the passing of time, how could one forget the human cost. Some
say"I know how God must feel, and that he's surely had his fill.
He'd want us to get back at thme for all those who were killed."
Yes it's true, he's had his fill, but not the way they say. For he
himself has said many times, THIS is the only way. God said I've
given earth's rulership to a man whose earned the right. When Toni Johnson Country: USA ---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- my forts on the 911 i will not forget this terrible disaster nicola Country: England ---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- I think that what happens in Iraq is totally tragedy chris martin Country: Scotland ---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- I would like to express my sadness about that inhumane attack that took place some years before in U.S.A. After that attack the world will not be the same i believe. Fear will dominate in our souls. But the worst comes when you think of the innocent souls that were lost that terrible day .Courage, that's the only that i can say (not only me but billions of people). I wish that had never happened. Anthony Country: Greece ---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- I feel very sorry for the people who lost their loved ones on 911 and I should fell thankful that I didn't. We should be thankful that GOD let us have another day to live on this Earth. You should be with your family every chance you get cause you never know when your going to loose them. Rachel L. Country: USA ---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- I think that u will never be alone and that we will all remember September the 11. I know that that day was a hard day for everyone. We will always remember it and it will be history forever. I love your site, and thank you for making it. Ashlie Country: USA ---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Today is just another day in the lives of Americans. I can feel the power of the 9/11 tragedies slipping away, the divisions between us growing stronger, and it saddens my heart. I will fly my flag until it tears to pieces, then I will buy another won and fly it until my dying day on this earth. To all those who read this, please never stop remembering, and please tell others, and your children when they are ready, about the evil that is lurking in our wold and the necessity of our nation to protect itself. We must never forget. Thank you all so much for giving your lives for our country, we will never forget you and we will honor your sacrifices by keeping to our commitments. One last thing I will say to all who read this, remember that even if you do not like the President, you should still support him. Support for you leader is an honor, he only stays for a short time and you can replace him with whomever you want then. But right now, and at any time, whether you are a republican, democrat, liberal, or conservative makes no difference, no matter who is in office. ALWAYS SUPPORT YOUR PRESIDENT and accept his/her mistakes as human. Thank you I love you all. Hunter Ross Country: US ---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- As the 4th year of remembrance of 9/11 comes closer, we must think
that, due to the fact that this could've been prevented. Chris Country: USA ---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- mahdi Country: Iran ---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- The morning that this tragedy happened I was at school in
Brunswick, Georgia ,waiting for my next class watching T.V in the
lounge. Looking in dismay, We just looked at each other hoping this
was some Hollywood stunt or something, I looked over from the T.V and
there were about 25 or more in one little room looking at the pain
that was in front of our eyes, WE couldn't believe the images! I
coldn't do any thing but pray and think ,I concentrate on nothing but
the people in the towers, the people on the street, the brave firemen
and the NYPD those brave souls who is running in to save who they can.
I felt a sad emptiness inside because I understood all of a sudden
that this was no stunt our country was under attack by people who hate
us they slaughtered our Children, Brothers, Sisters, Mothers, Fathers,
Grandmothers, Grandfathers, Aunts, Uncles, and our friends. I felt so trapped
and scared, nobody was sure what was going to happen next; was they
going to attack the whole U.S.A or what? I felt so selfish
because I was worrying about MY two Teens, I couldn't stay at school
any longer I went and got my Children out of school. I have lost
family members in the past of things like cancer, car wrecks, and yes
some have been murdered! so My family knows what it felt like someone
so tragic " I Thought until that day I saw them planes go through
them two Beautiful Towers"!!! ALso I thought (this is
something we can think about) Trust in the Lord with all thine heart;
and Lean not Unto Thine Own Understanding. that tragic moment. Rebecca Country: The Netherlands ---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- 9/11 is one day that the world nor I will ever forget. I remember
coming out of school and just having that "feeling" that
something bad was happening! I went home and saw people jumping from
windows and people screaming. What was going on? I kept saying to
myself. Everybody knows what happened next and the feeling was
unbearable, I didn't have any family or friends killed or injured from
that day. Which i am very thankful for, however there are people out
there who were affected and my heart goes out to you. For those who
were in anyway affected by the disaster then just think that whoever
did leave this world are now looking down on us and are hopefully
eternally happy seeing you go from strength to strength each day. They
miss you and we miss miss them. I can honestly say God bless
America!!!! Rebecca Country: England ---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- I was serving in the United States Air Force on September 11 2001. That day has changed my outlook on life forever. To this day i still cry for all of the innocence that was taken from those people caught unaware by the evil of terrorism. God bless you for making this web site and helping me to remember that i live in a free country. God bless my USA and my thoughts prayers and tears go out to all of my fellow Americans who fell victim to the terrible injustice on that day. Keith Country: United States of America ---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- ON BEHALF OF ALL OF US HERE IN CALIFORNIA, I WOULD LIKE TO LET ALL OF THOSE WHO LOST A PART OF THEM THAT OUR THOUGHTS AND PRAYERS ARE WITH THEM ALWAYS, AND TO OUR HEROS- THOSE WHO WE LOST AND TO THOSE WHO WERE BRAVE ENOUGH TO RISK IT ALL AND LIVED TO TELL THE TALE, NOT TO MENTION ALL OF OUR "GREAT HEROS" WHO RISK IT ALL EVERY DAY,EVERYWHERE,YOU ARE TRULY ADMIRED AND APPRECIATED EVERY DAY FOR THE COURAGEOUS SELFLESS PEOPLE YOU ARE. JOANNE VEGA Country: USA ---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- there's no more north or south we are all together now one nation under GOD, THE WAY IT WAS MEANT TO BE D.B. CAMPBELL Country: PENSACOLA FL ---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- I just wanted to say, i am terribly sorry about the families who lost their loved ones on that fateful day on September 11,2001.I'm 14 years old now and it happened when i was 11 at that time and the horrific images still haunt me in my dreams at night. I remember that day i was in band class at Central Davidson Middle School and the principle said to turn on all tv's. Since we didn't have one in band class we went to the music room and sat down and the teachers turned on the tv, and i couldn't believe what i saw. We didn't see the first plane go in but we were devastated when the second one hit the WTC, it brought tears to my eyes, and even now when i hear about it i still cry. And as i watch the memorials and remembrances on television it gets harder and harder to bare, even though it's been three or four years ago. And if that didn't break me down, the falling of the two towers did, my friends and I felt so sad about all the people who died to say others and not only that but their own. As President Roosevelt said, when the Japanese bombed Pearl Harbor, we will not give up, we will do whatever we can to put this tragedy behind us, America will find a way, and we will find justice and we will win! I am only 13 years old so maybe i am spelling wrong.. but I'm sorry about world trade.. i just want you to no that... and we are all sorry in Denmark.. I think.. the best country in Europe... Denmark ---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Simon Country: Denmark ---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- The pain is real. The strike was real. The
world was changed on that fateful day, and I was ashamed. I was
ashamed of my own country. While American soldiers fought and died in
Afghanistan, Canada sent a few measly troops. When America vowed
to rid the world of terror; when they realized that they could not be
safe until the world was; when they knew that to help themselves, they
had to help others, to liberate others; when America helped the world,
Canada closed up. Canada did not aid our rightful ally in the fight
against terror. Canada did not and does not cooperate with America's
dream of a free world. Canada opposes the liberation of Iraq. Canada
opposes the liberation of other countries. Canada opposes the
giving of liberty to others. Canada opposes freedom. For this, I
am ashamed. I am ashamed of my homeland. I am ashamed of what we have
become. And thus, America goes into this world to liberate it
without the aid of the country professing to hold liberty most dear. (11/22/04) First
I'd like to say to everyone who lost a person he or she loved that I'm
praying for them with all my heart. My grand father was in one of the
buildings when the attacks occurred. Fortunately he was saved I admit I
don't really know how. But when I came back from school that day, and saw
my parents crying in front of the TV, telling me something really bad
happened to Grandpa, I fell all my world falling apart. All my life I've
felt more American than French, I sort of feel like I belong there, and I
felt desperate, and in danger, and a lot of other terrible feelings words
can't even describe as the images were broadcasted over and over again. I
felt American, and I think the whole world felt American on that day, and
I'll keep praying for all of you who still suffer from these terrible
attacks. Anne-Cécile France ---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- November 11, 2004 Today as I stood in line at large supermarket with many others, 11:00 rang out, and all our worlds came together in Remembrance of what November 11th is, It went silent in the entire store, everyone stopped walking, the cash registers went silent, the entire store joined in thought, prayer, and peace, Today was the most moving Remembrance Day I've ever experienced in my life. ---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- September 11, 2001 – A day that the members of the FDNY, NYPD and Port Authority went beyond Heroic and didn’t worry if they were paid 3.5 million dollars a year to play a game with a stick and puck or any other sport – A day love & compassion by mankind for mankind stands as a testament that our world can be more than how much is in it for ME, if we only re-evaluate priorities – A day that airline crew & passengers faced their God and their mortality – A day that people like you and I, that their Heroism may yet be untold or unknown A little over two weeks ago I was awoken at 3:20am to shortly after find myself face to face, fighting for my life, for what seemed like a struggle that would never end. As I was trying to pull a door shut from out of the control of the unknown male with a knife, he repeatedly thrust the knife in an attempt to stab me, while we stood less than 2 feet apart in the doorway. This male was so high on booze & likely some narcotic, that it took multiple police officers, that arrived on scene at the end of the struggle, some with guns drawn, others that rushed into a hand to hand struggle with the male, and yet another that had to use repeated shocking with a Tazer Stun Gun, that all together they finally put him into custody. Only by the grace of God and the swift action of my cities Finest Heroes, am I able to share this, and yet I am troubled to why I was spared without evening receiving a single wound, of how God has spared my life, yet once again. Even though this event was the most fearful moment I’ve ever had in my life, I can’t begin to imagine what some must have gone through September 11th, or the courage it took for those who rush into the towers, for those who overthrew the terrorists before they plunged the fourth plane into their target, or for those that rushed into the Pentagon. What arrogance and greed does it take for not only these NHL players, but as well any other professional athlete to feel they are worth so much to demand millions of dollars to play a game most of us enjoyed or still enjoy the sport for the sheer fact it is and enjoyment to play. Their greed is beyond reproach when you consider,,,, Every Day! , Firemen and Police Officers put their very life and safety at risk, to carry us to safety, or to put themselves in mortal danger to protect us from harms way, all for a meager living in comparison to professional athletes. May God Bless our Heroes; Our local Police Officers and Firefighters Let us not forget what they do daily for our lives. Richard Guyon WTC Memorial Tribute Site Designer Canada Thank you again, those members of my local law enforcement for your Courage and Dedication to our protection.

I just want to let you know how sorry I am about the 11th September 2001... ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
(09/14/04)
I'm so afraid, that the world will forget about the tragedy, that
happened 3 years ago. That we forget to tell about in the future, and that we forget the lost and missing people, and the families that have lost relatives and beloved ones. They must never be forgotten. I'm from Denmark and can see from year to year that the interest is not the same anymore. It can and I know it will happen again, when people has thrown their mind somewhere else. The
people who lost their lives, deserve to be remembered. I will in person, never forget it. Rest in peace and may good hold a hand over the families.

I have been blessed to have known and work with many of you, Tommy Langone, Sgt Curtin, Dominques, Driscoll, to name a few. You should have seen the bravery of your brother & sister Officers in the pit working through incredible situation looking for you. Then again you were probably there watching us, making sure we didn't get hurt. To be there side by side with them comforting each other as we searched for you guys. I am proud to have known you, work with you, laugh with you. You will all be greatly missed. May God bless your families and grant you all eternal life in His presences.
